Yellow Goldenback Shrimp are a selectively bred colour variety of Neocaridina davidi, recognised for their vivid yellow colour and pale stripe running along the back.
Their colour contrasts especially well with dark substrate, green plants and natural hardscape, making them a striking choice for planted aquariums.
Like other Neocaridina shrimp, they thrive best in mature, stable aquariums with gentle filtration and plenty of grazing surfaces.

Feeding

Peaceful and active, Yellow Goldenback Shrimp spend much of the day exploring the aquarium and grazing across available surfaces.
Breeding
Mature females carry fertilised eggs beneath the abdomen until they hatch as miniature, fully formed shrimp. A mature aquarium with moss and plenty of biofilm gives shrimplets the best chance to thrive.
