3. Website use

You may use the website for lawful personal and commercial browsing purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website unlawfully or fraudulently
  • Attempt to interfere with its security or operation
  • Upload malicious code
  • Misuse contact forms or communication channels
  • Copy or republish protected content without permission
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the website

4. Product information

We aim to keep descriptions, care information, stock status, prices and product details accurate and up to date.

Aquatic livestock and plants are living organisms. Their size, colour, markings, growth form and behaviour may vary naturally. Images are illustrative and may not show the exact individual supplied.

5. Availability

Product availability may change at any time.

Displaying a product on the website does not guarantee that it is available. Products marked “Out of Stock” cannot be ordered. Stock remains subject to confirmation when an order is placed.

6. Prices

Prices are shown in euros unless stated otherwise.

Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or other fees will be shown before an order is confirmed.

If a product is listed with an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.

7. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy the selected products. An order is accepted only when AquaCoding Studios confirms it.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

  • The item is unavailable
  • Payment cannot be authorised
  • Delivery or collection is not possible
  • There is an obvious listing or pricing error
  • There is suspected fraud, misuse or unlawful activity

If payment has already been taken for an order that cannot be fulfilled, the relevant amount will be refunded.

8. Payment

Payment must be made using an accepted payment method shown at checkout or otherwise agreed with AquaCoding Studios.

Payment processing may be provided by a third party. Their own terms and privacy policy may also apply.

9. Livestock purchases

Customers are responsible for checking that their aquarium, water parameters, equipment and planned tank mates are suitable before purchasing livestock.

We may decline a livestock sale where there are reasonable welfare concerns or where the proposed environment appears unsuitable.

General care information is provided for guidance and does not replace appropriate veterinary or specialist advice.

10. Delivery and collection

Available delivery or collection methods, charges and estimated times are explained before an order is confirmed.

Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery information and be available where livestock must be received promptly.

Further details are set out in our Shipping & Returns Policy .

11. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellation, return and refund rights depend on the type of product and applicable consumer law.

Certain goods may fall within legal exceptions to the normal withdrawal right, including goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly and other categories provided by law.

Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer right. Full details are provided in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

12. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Customers retain their legal rights where goods are faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.

Contact AquaCoding Studios as soon as reasonably possible and provide the order reference and any useful photographs or details.

Content may not be copied, republished or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

14. External links

The website may include links to third-party websites or services. AquaCoding Studios is not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

15. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, AquaCoding Studios is not responsible for losses caused by misuse of the website, failure to follow care guidance, unsuitable aquarium conditions, inaccurate information supplied by the customer or events outside reasonable control.

16. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, service outages or emergency welfare concerns.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our products, services, systems or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply under Maltese or European Union law.
